Effective from 15 October 2026.
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. A cookie helps the site recognise you on your next visit or remember your preferences.
Which cookies we have
We use three kinds of cookies: strictly necessary cookies, without which the Webshop does not work; statistics cookies, which help us understand how the site is used; and marketing cookies, which help measure the results of our Google advertising. Statistics and marketing cookies are not set before you give your consent, and you can decide on each separately. Until you have consented, we measure visits without cookies and without recognising you.
| Cookie | Duration | Why it is necessary |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (login) | Up to 7 days | Keeps you logged in to the Webshop so that you can access your account and order history. |
| Redirect cookie (after login) | For the duration of the browser session | Remembers which page you should return to after logging in, so that you are not sent to the wrong place. |
| Google login security cookie (PKCE) | Up to 15 minutes | Protects the Google login flow from interception in transit and is deleted immediately after login. |
| Shopping cart cookie | Up to 30 days | Links the contents of your shopping cart or price enquiry to your browser, so that the products in the cart do not disappear before you place the order. |
| VAT display preference | Up to 1 year | Remembers whether you want to see prices including or excluding VAT, so that you do not have to choose again on every page. |
| Security cookies (CSRF) | For the duration of the session | Protect forms and login from forged requests. |
Statistics cookies
We use the Google Analytics 4 service, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Cookies are set only after you have consented.
| Cookie | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Up to 2 years | Distinguishes visitors, so that a repeat visit by the same person is not counted as new. |
| _ga_<ID> | Up to 2 years | Keeps the state of the current visit, so that the order in which pages are viewed can be measured. |
Marketing cookies
We use the Google Ads service, provided by Google Ireland Limited. Marketing cookies make it possible to measure whether our advertising on Google led to a purchase and to show Webshop visitors more relevant ads later. Cookies are set only after you have agreed to marketing cookies.
| Cookie | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Up to 3 months | Links an ad click to a later purchase, so that the result of the advertising can be measured. |
| Google advertising cookies (e.g. IDE, on the google.com and doubleclick.net domains) | Up to 13 months | Allow Google to show you more relevant ads and to measure their results. |
If you do not agree to marketing cookies, advertising cookies are not set and Google Ads receives only an aggregated, non-personalised signal.
Changing your consent
You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Your choice is valid for 12 months, after which we ask again.
How to delete cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. The exact steps depend on the browser; you will usually find the option under "Privacy" or "Cookies" in the settings.
Warning: blocking strictly necessary cookies breaks the Webshop, for example the contents of the shopping cart are no longer kept and you cannot log in.
